“Confidence” (Released 12.12.2025) is the second single from imstillFranci’s debut EP “Peace Without a Fight,” releasing December 12th, 2025. A coming-of-age anthem about rediscovering that sense of play we had as kids, the track is a reminder from the purest parts of ourselves—the ones that believed in big ideas and crazy dreams before we learned to be practical and cynical. Written and recorded at Toolhouse Studios in Rotenburg, Germany, it captures that universal moment of reconnecting with who you were before the world told you to grow up, when playing was just for the sake of playing. Whether you’re an artist wrestling with commercial pressures or anyone who’s lost touch with their childhood wonder, “Confidence” is about knowing thyself again. Starting with intimate piano-led verses, it explodes into massive, Kings of Leon-esque choruses driven by raw guitars and pounding drums. The journey from self-doubt to self-belief builds to a cathartic sing-along finale where Francesca’s repeated declaration “I believe in you” becomes permission to trust those wild, childlike instincts again—to rediscover the person most of us seem to lose along the way.

imstillFranci / Francesca Hojda is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter whose
music was born on the gritty streets of Bucharest and carved against the brutalist backdrop of
East Berlin. Her influences are undeniably West and unapologetically East.
Hailing from a small city in northern Romania as the youngest of five siblings in a musical family,
her sound blends indie pop, indie folk, alternative, and electronic textures, with subtle nods to
the traditional folk rhythms that shaped her childhood.
Her songs carry a powerful, relatable message of hope, vulnerability, and strength.
The name imstillFranci is a personal reminder to never forget who she is—amid the chaos and
challenges life inevitably brings. She is a rebel for emotions that feel obvious but are so often
lost, demonstrating individual strength as a form of togetherness in a time of loneliness hidden behind algorithms.
Following her first single “King” The track “Peace Without a Fight” is the first single from her
upcoming EP of the same name.
- The whole energy of the track is just wonderful. The expressive lead vocal on this performance is to die for. It’s hard to put into words the quality of the singing here, but I’m not overstepping to say that imstillFranci deserves to be in the Billie Eilish and Lizzy McAlpine conversation
